Double Woo!!

Woo-sung is going to film a wuxia flick directed by Jon Woo that entitled 劍雨江湖 (something like the rain of swords *ouch*), the budget is claimed to be 3.73 hundred million NTD.

Guess who else will be in it? Michelle Yeoh, Xueqi Wang(Shi Sanyan in Mei LanFang), Kelly Lin(the girl in Sparrow, Full Time Killer and Mad Detective etc), Shawn Yue(young Chen Wing-Yan in IA). The film will start shooting next month in Shanghai and then come to TW to do a few scenes.

Th plot is about a wordswoman Michelle Yeoh, who retires to be a normal housewife (married to Woo-sung who is naive and optimistic), but the Jianghu won't let her getting away with it because she has a precious relic - Bodhidharma's body!! The producer said Woo-sung speakes Chinese very well (really...) and will not be dubbed in the movie.

The script writer Su Zhaobin is a fellow student of mine, and has produced several creative movies, just it seems to me that he is still too young and couldn't work out a convincing ending even though the idea is basically good. I hope he improves in this film.

P.S. Shirley is on my Hero's desktop now just her scoffing face is blocked by the locked screen bar. She saves her face! LOL

Small Anthony's new MV

This is the themesong 'Fly Fly Fly' of Small Anthony's first stage play titled 'Great Fobidden City' - it's soundtracks will be combined with Kun Opera, Classic Music and Electro music. Small Anthony wrote four songs for the play. His role is a swallow @@ Sounds bizzare!

However, I quite like the song, have been playing it alot tonight ^^ The MV is interesting.

Eason is going to release a Japanese album next year!!!! XDDD He has JP fans! Wow! PMSL!! His JP blog : http://ameblo.jp/easonchan/ So he can sing in Cantonese, English, Mandarin, Taiwanese (in his coming-up Mandarin album this month) and now Japanese, so multilingual *grin* Seems like his Japanese is as good as mine LMAO!!

Wish him the best with the new move. I would like to see him sing a duet with Misia, Dreams Come True, Matsutoya Yumi, Hitotoyo and Hiraiken. So many good artists!!!

1) Got my uniform yesterday - finally. People said I look good and cool in it LMAO Bad news is I might have to iron it everyday -_-

2) A Mazu guy has the same name as Panda - 劉德華(Liu De Hua), exacxtly the same characters. I had to restrain from laughing when I saw his passport. Mind you, there is another guy called Chen De Hua, apparently De Hua is a popular male name. Talking about Panda, his Judge Dee look : (sorry, Panda won't like me resizing his photos)

I hope it was not Andox who designed his outfit - look at his oxhorn hat! But, Judge Dee can speak abdomen language and talk to animals! I might like to see the movie XD

3) Taiwanese singer Amei (the girl on glitterburn's 'Amei Black' avatar) released her new album, and she adoptes another name as Amit (A-mei Music In Transform) Her latest MV is "Black Eats Black"(literally translated) which is kinda cool. 5) This guy is Jang Keun Suk. But how can one person look SO different ? @@ Thank god he is getting better.

6) Two new colleagues arrived. One 55 year old, another 35. Female. Both are very friendly and hard-working, likes to learn. We decided to share the broadband internet.

7) The director of the service center likes to drink. When he gets drunk, he speaks English. His famous line : Tomorrow, same time, same place, same people. Everybody happy happy. LOL

8) NeiHu Metro Station opened several days ago. From now on, I can go directly from the Taipei Train Station to the airport without walking 15 mins carrying my baggage. Yay.

9) Saw one hot NZ guy. Tawny hair. Nice chin and nose. Tall like a model. Broad shoulders. Smiley. I took a look at his landing card, his name is Downs.

10) Can go home within a week *fingers crossed*

CCTV's Three Kingdoms

Three Kingdom's going to get wrapped up in July after 10 months of filming, according to the director Gao. It will air on CCTV as the opening grand show for year 2010 if things go well. CCTV had been asking the director to condense the show within 30 eps, which was impossible, hence, the finale version would have 60 eps.

Director Gao said that his version of Three Kingdoms will show the audience a 'complete' Wu and Sun Quan which have been treated with weak description and somewhat neglected by other shows before. He wants a balance between the three kingdoms, which sounds like a good idea to me.

While I prefer the younger look of ZhugeLiang (meaning shorter mustache), oddly, I also like the very old look : (the other older man sitting on the ground is Sima Yi)

Ci Hang Temple

There is a senior colleague called Mr Lin, who is a follower of I Kuan Tao : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I-Kuan_Tao I Kuan Tao is very popular in TW, has many followers, such as Clara's father, one of my Economics professors in the uni, etc.

Mr Lin is a very good guy, he doesn't preach his religion whenever he sees chance, yet he is pious. As I Kuan Tao's followers need to be a vegetarian, so is he. He doesn't drink, which is very hard to do here on Mazu.

Last month he told me, there is a Guan Yin Temple called Ci Hang Temple in ZhangHua County (near Taichung) , the wooden Guan Yin statue is huge, made of a big chunk of wood. It's 'history' is quite interesting. The Guan Yin statue was created in south Taiwan, yet while on the way to the northern temple where she had been supposed to stay in, the truck had an accident and couldn't move any further. People said, herself chose the place where she wanted to stay, instead of going to the temple where her followers decided.

It says that 1) The driver hadn't been supposed to drive on that road, he claimed that he was in a 'dizzy' state. 2) the Guan Yin statue was 'threw' out of the truck some feets away while the truck was tumbled over and belly-up. Guan Yin landed on the ground safe and sound, facing east. The six people in the truck crawled out of the car without any injury. 3) Days later, the truck was fixed, they wanted to send Guan Yin back to it's original destination - a temple in BanQiao(north Taiwan). Guan Yin refused as they couldn't manage to lift it up @@ They thought Guan Yin wanted to stay there, so gradually, over years, the local people donated the place to build Ci Hang Temple. Chow Yun Fat to play Confucious @@

Was reading Lu Yi's Baidu forum(btw, Three Kingdoms will finish it's filming at around July. Hopefully we can see it soon) and came across a news about Chow Yun Fat as Confucious in the film (photo stills here : http://ent.sina.com.cn/f/kzjscx/p/index.html)

The guy who plays Cao Cao in China's TV series Three Kingdoms will be the second male lead in Confucious while Lu Yi has a role in it, too. The script writer is the same guy who wrote the movie Red Cliff, who said he is prepared to take criticism.

Confucious's fav disciple is Yian Huei who IMO looks very much like Panda in this drawing @@ The actor is called Ren Quan - two photos here, and here. He is kina cute HAHA

Confucious seems a good movie to see just I hope it won't deify Confucious.

Okay. This is my first *teeny weeny* blog entry since, er, mid-March XD
